I arrived back to the ministry office from the BEAMS conference in Gulfport, MS held in February. The Beams conference is always a joy to serve at. I was privileged to present the ministry Sunday and Wednesday evening to four individual churches.
On Sunday morning I presented at Northspoon Baptist in Poplarville, MS with Pastor Billy Ray Bond, then in the afternoon at Hickory Baptist in Picayune, MS with Pastor Steve Posey, and in the evening at Sycamore Baptist in Carriere, MS with Pastor Donnie Smith. Then on Wednesday evening at Windham Springs Baptist in Northport, AL with Pastor Terry Oswalt.
It has been an exciting time since my last letter. My home church had a special service to charge me in my missionary work. My pastor, along with, Richard Hivner, Jonathan Hall and Rick Grisham preached and encouraged me to do my absolute best in the Lord’s ministry. After the preaching, all of the men of the church gathered around and prayed over me. It was such an honor which I do not take lightly, as Paul and Barnabas were charged before they went out so my church has done to me. I pray that through the Lord’s help I will accomplish great things for his church and soon coming kingdom!
Bro. Grisham is recovering from his surgery quite well. It is only a matter of time until he is back to full-time ministry work. All of the churches and meetings I have been to in the last few months have been very supportive of this ministry. God is continually opening doors please pray that I will follow his guidance and direction.
We are exercising wisdom with the Corona virus warnings; it will not stop our ministry work as we place our faith in the Lord to care for us and provide the opportunities. We are still helping churches in need (mostly through our website and phone) and supplying them with KJV Bibles and Baptist friendly literature.
