My eldest son, Caleb has been serving the Lord in a King James Bible and book ministry, sent out from our church. This ministry was started over twenty years ago. The goal and purpose of this ministry is to provide God’s people with King James Bibles and good, Baptist-friendly books to help churches and Christians grow in the knowledge and grace of our dear Lord.
Caleb has been working in this ministry for over five years now. It started out as a summer trip with the director after he graduated from high school. He continued working with the director while he was in college (Ivy Tech Community College and Faith Bible Institute). After which, he went into this ministry full time.
No one in this ministry draws a salary or profits from the books monetarily. This is a ministry by and for God’s people. All money from the sale of Bibles and books goes back to purchase more materials and support the ministry needs. Everyone who works in this ministry is supported like any other missionary. He has currently been on deputation to raise support for a little over a year now. Our church has sent him out under our authority and with our recommendation.
