Special Update July Prayer Letter 2025
Dear Pastor and Church Family,
Thank you all so much for your prayers for Anna and the baby! I am pleased to announce that
baby Gracelynn Kay Nichols has arrived! She was born on May 30 at two in the morning!
She is strong, healthy, and a great blessing to our family. We’re so thankful for how the Lord
answered prayer. I’ve included a picture of her inside this letter—she’s making people smile
wherever she goes!
During these past few months, we’ve continued to stay busy with the Bible and book ministry.
We’ve been working hard to get a few older books reprinted and back into circulation, while also
traveling across America visiting churches and their Jubilees and church meetings. We took a
couple of weeks to stay close to home while Anna had the baby and recovered afterward, but
we’re already back on the road and starting strong once again.
I’d like to share a story that taught me a valuable lesson. We were at a church one Sunday
evening and we were all talking in the fellowship hall after service, then the pastor offhandedly
mentioned it would be good if we all had ice cream, but sadly, we forgot to buy some. Naturally,
after hearing this I snuck away and jumped in my car and drove down to the nearest Kroger and
bought some ice cream.
I don’t think I spent more than $11.
I brought it to the church. The Pastor and everyone were super excited to get the ice cream. it
was so good to see people enjoying something I have been able to provide for them. As it turns
out money can really buy happiness, if you use it the right way. That was the most fun I’ve had
with $11 this whole year!
One more story that happened a few weeks ago. While I was preparing a small Bible lesson, I
had a happy accident. I started writing the lesson which I thought it would be a couple pages
long maybe 5 or 10 pages at the most. Instead, now it is 80 pages long! I stayed up until two in
the morning writing most of what would become my new book: Armor Up! A parent’s guide for
teaching your kids the Whole Armor of God. It’s a 7 day devotional you can do with your kids or
Sunday school class. To teach kids about each piece of the armor and how to apply it in their
lives. I fear most Christians suffer in life because they forgot to put their armor on.
Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support. You help keep us on the road,
encouraging churches, reprinting sound Christian books, and getting God’s Word into more
hands. We couldn’t do it without you!
