I hope you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to a wonderful new year to serve the Lord.
First off, I would like to thank God for providing for a new vehicle. After my car’s transmission died I did not know how God was going to supply my need but he did! I am now driving a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe – God truly did bless me, this vehicle is a vast improvement over my 1997 Honda CRV. It has more space for me to carry the Bibles and books, better gas mileage, and it should be safer to drive on the interstate. God brought in over $2,400 above monthly support to help purchase this vehicle.
Both November and December were filled with ministry work. God enabled me to bring the Bibles and books to many meetings from North Carolina to Mississippi and a few states in between.
A week before Christmas I experienced my first taste of flying. Bro. Grisham arranged for me to fly to Greenville, SC to pick up over 28,000 books from author Dean Weaver. I drove back to Smithfield, KY in a U-haul truck. Thank God for traveling mercies!
Please pray for Bro. Dean Weaver he is 87 years old. He has been preaching and writing for about 60 years, and his wife passed into glory a few days before Christmas this past year.
My first flight was amazing! We took off about 6:30 in the morning. Due to the weather our pilot took us above the clouds; they really do look like cotton balls! As I looked out my window I thought, this is how God sees us. His vantage point is so high up we must look so small, insignificant. Yet to him we are not, to him we have value. Not even the sparrows can fall without his notice. And he said …ye are of more value than many sparrows. Matt. 10:31 He not only notices us he knows us, and even after that he shed his blood to save us. Dear God please help us never to forget your great love for us!
