October & November Prayer Letter 2020

Greetings from your missionary Caleb Nichols representing the Victory Baptist Church Bible & Book Ministry,

I have some wonderful news, I will be getting married soon to the most beautiful and sweet young lady! Her name is Anna Grace Bell. We have been courting for almost two years now and I finally popped the question a few weeks back on September 26^th. I took her to the Smoky Mountains, up to the old fire tower there. While she was admiring the view I pulled the ring out of my pocket and asked her, “Anna, will you marry me?” And to my great joy she said YES!

We will be getting married on January 16^th at Island Ford Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY. You are invited to join us on this special day. If you are able to come please call me at the number below. If you are unable to attend it will be alright, just pray for us. Pray that God will make us a team, that we will accomplish the work he has for us and bring honor to his name. Once we are married she will be traveling with me to all of the meetings. If you can’t come to our wedding then you will get to meet her at one of those.

Just this past week I got back home from traveling to a number of meetings in Ohio and one in Mississippi. I was at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Ohio with Pastor Philip Manning. We had a wonderful meeting, at least one soul was saved and God’s people were encouraged. One of the guest preachers used me for one of his illustrations. I walked up to the platform and he asked me to use the Bible like a sword. I held it in my right hand then waved it to-and-fro like a sword. Needless to say, I have poor swordsmanship, we all had a good laugh then the preacher continued his message. Before I go there again I will take a Sword Fighting 101 class!

We had a great couple of days with Faith Baptist Church in Ohio with Pastor Patrick Hackathorn. Their church was such a blessing to me, as well as First Baptist Church of McNeill in Mississippi with Pastor Russell Jordan. Both churches were a great help to me. As well as all the other churches I was able to help and visit.
